This week I am hanging out here:

This is Wensleydale (where the cheese comes from) and I’m here for a week, cooking on a camp for a large number of 8 to 11 year olds.

Those of my readers who have known me for a few years might be shocked (or even a little concerned) about the idea of people having to count on me for their sustenance for the week, but don’t worry, I do actually know how to cook now.

This afternoon about 30 kids arrived, and so far we’ve managed to provide them with Cottage Pie, peas, and sweetcorn for tea, ice cream for pudding, and hot chocolate and doughnuts for supper. And the current number of fires is zero.

In summary: winning.
